Weekend - La Variete

On this date in 1982, Weekend released their debut album, La Variete. It contained the single, "Drum Beat For Baby". The London post punk band was formed by Allison Statton after Young Marble Giants disbanded. Weekend was over in 1983 after one album and a few singles.
