M - Official Secrets

On this date in 1980, M released their fifth single, "Official Secrets". It was backed by "Maniac". Both tracks appeared on their second album, The Official Secrets Act. The single reached the #64 spot on the U.K. singles chart. Robin Scott's new wave act, M, would never recapture the success of their second single, "Pop Musik". The Croydon, England new wave band disbanded in 1981.
