True West - Lucifer Sam

On this date in 1982, True West released their debut single, "Lucifer Sam". It was backed by "Mas Reficul" (which is "Lucifer Sam" spelled backwards). The A side appeared on their debut album, Hollywood Holiday. The B Side did not. The Davis, California neo psychedelic/power pop band disbanded in 1987 after three albums and a few singles but re-formed a few years ago and have recorded and released new material.
