On this date in 1977, XTC made their vinyl debut with a four song EP called
3D. It contained "
Science Friction", "
She's So Square", "
Dance band" and "
Goodnight Sucker". The fourth song was not listed on the label and is an unlisted bonus track. None of the tracks appeared on a regular album though the first three were added as bonus tracks to their debut album,
White Music, when it was re-released on CD. The Swindon, England post punk/new wave band called it quits in 2006 when Colin Moulding expressed a desire to call it quits. Andy Partridge didn't feel that it would be XTC without the both of them.
