On this date in 1977, The Heartbreakers released their only studio album,
L.A.M.F. It contained the singles, "
Born To Lose" (though a different version), "
It's Not Enough", "
One Track Mind", "
Let Go" and "
Chinese Rocks". The legendary New York City punk band, at this time, included Johnny Thunders and Jerry Nolan (both ex-New York Dolls), plus Walter Lure and Billy Rath. Richard Hell had once been a member of the group. They disbanded in 1979. They would reunite on several occasions afterwards.
