On this date in 1980, Martha and The Muffins released their second album,
Trance And Dance". It included the singles, "
Suburban Dream", "
About Insomnia" and "
Was Izo". Early editions of the album included a four song live EP which had live versions of "
Indecision", "
Cheesies And Gum", "
Primal Weekend" and "
Paint By Number Heart". The Toronto new wave band changed their name of the band to M+M in 1983 and the band died out by 1986, though they have gotten together on and off since.
