On this date in 1978, The Cortinas released their only album,
True Romances. It included their third single, "
Heartache". This was a much more reserved set of songs than their first two faster singles, "
Defiant Pose" and "
Fascist Dictator". While not included on this album originally, they were both added as bonus tracks on the CD re-release. The Bristol, England teenage punk band disbanded in 1978 after three singles and an album.
