The London post punk band rose from the ashes of a 1976 college band called The B Sides which included Stuart Goddard (Adam Ant). They released five albums before disbanding in 1985. They re-formed a few years later.

The A side was a direct response to The Stranglers' song, "Sweden (All Quiet on the Eastern Front)" which was, in itself in response to the rough treatment they received in Sweden on a recent tour. Joe Jackson - Beat Crazy

Divinyls - Music From Monkey Grip
